Anna Walker worked as a designer on the American Continent for almost a quarter of the century.

Born in Warsaw, Anna Walker studied at New York's prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology.
In 1985, she opened her atelier in New York and later in Montreal. For the North American market she created the label Ania Zofia.

She entered the market with an unusual collection of leather and suede evening wear. Later her reputation for her hand painted silk's have placed her in the best specialty boutiques throughout the US and Canada.

Ania Zofia dresses have been worn by elegant women to official parties at the White House in Washington, at a state dinner for Princess Diana in Toronto, and have been featured at the Country Music Awards in Nashville.

Miles Socha of the prestigious Woman's Wear Daily, after seeing a fashion show noted:
     "Close inspection reveals the intricacy of Ania Zofia's floral
     designs, the rich colours and superb finishing of the garments...
